Footage was shot at Cut Above the Rest in Burnley on the 22.6.24 where i played alongside DJ Woody (ITF scratch champ and all round nice guy).

Petra – Just Let Go Acid House (Scratch Jam)

In the above scratch vid i was performing some cuts over the 125BPM acid house tune: Petra – Just Let Go. This was an all vinyl scratch jam using my old Rane TT56, a Technics 1210 MK5, Shure M44-7 needles and the Scratch Roulette Volume 1 scratching vinyl. This was a free style practice. Nothing was practiced or rehearsed.

Unity” by Timebase feat. Kromozone (1991) (Scratch Video)

Recently, I recorded some video of me cutting up over some faster music. Namely the ardcore classic “Unity” by Timebase feat. Kromozone.

The track is 130BPM, which is a bit of a tricky speed to scratch over. Especially with hip hop style cuts and samples.

Quite please with how the result came out. This was done in one take and nothing practiced previously.

This is a quick rave/house music scratch routine. And it’s over the classic 90s rave anthem Rhythm Quest – Closer To All Your Dreams.

Fourtet Birdsong Scratch

Been practicing this little routine over the last few months. Hope you all enjoy it.

This video was made using a Rane TT56, Vestax PDX 2000 and a Ricci Rucker scratch vinyl (can’t remember which one). The beats and tune in the background is Fourtet’s Birdsong
